Intrauterine extra-amniotic administration of prostaglandin F2α for therapeutic abortion

摘要: Abstract A method of administering prostaglandin F 2α (PGF ) solutions at various intrauterine extra-amniotic sites to induce abortion and study the effect PGF on myometrium is described. Three observations were noted during 7 women between 8 20 weeks' gestation: (1) Injection in fundus resulted a greater myometrial response when compared elicited by same dose injected lower uterine sites; (2) sensitivity PGE appeared be early pregnancies as later pregnancies; (3) responded increasing basal tonus more pregnancy than it did pregnancies.
