摘要: Purpose To examine the effectiveness of serum free-to-total prostate specific antigen ratio (%fPSA) for detection cancer (PCa) in men with different total PSA (tPSA) categories. Materials and methods From January 2010 to December 2013, a 225 patients lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) underwent tPSA %fPSA measurements. Histological examination calculation Gleason score whole body bone scans were performed identified cases PCa. Results PCa was diagnosed 44 (19.6%) remaining 181 had benign disease. detected 5 (23.8%), 13 (8.7%) 26 (47.3%) level ranges≤4 ng/ml, 4 10 ng/ml >10 respectively. The average 7.2±0.2. Some 6 (13.6%) out metastases. sensitivity 80% specificity 81.3% at cut-off 15% below ng/ mL. A associated score≥7 than those score≤6 (11.7±0.98 vs. 16.5±2.25%, P=0.029). No obvious relation incidence metastasis apparent this study. Conclusions clinical application could help discriminate from disease concentration ng/mL.
