摘要: AIM: To study the outcomes of patients with compensated hepatitis C virus-related cirrhosis. METHODS: Twenty-four grade A5 and 11 A6 Child-Pugh classification cirrhotic active virus replication, treated for a mean period 31.3 ± 5.1 mo moderate doses interferon-alpha ribavirin, were compared to cohort 36 similar characteristics, without antiviral treatment. Salivary caffeine concentration, liver test microsomal function, was determined at starting thrice in course therapy after 1.6 mo, meanwhile resistive index splenic artery ultra sound Doppler, an indirect portal hypertension, only measured beginning end study. RESULTS: Eight out 24 A5- (33.3%) 5 A6- (45.45%) treated-cirrhotic showed significant improvement total overnight salivary assessment. A reduction up 20% obtained 3 8 (37.5%) 2 (40%) improved which clear tendency decrease therapy. The clearance achieved (12.5%) 1 (0.091%) A6-patients median 8.5 combined In non-treated patients, not considered parameters remained unchanged, but (8.3%) had worsening score (P = 0.001). CONCLUSION: prolonged dosages ribavirin shows trend stable function or ameliorate residual entity hypertension compensation status acceptable costs.
