摘要: Abstract Intra-operative contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is a relatively standardized procedure in brain neurosurgery, but it still underused spinal cord and intramedullary tumor evaluation. We reviewed analyzed the intra-operative data from surgical series of patients harboring tumors who underwent surgery under CEUS guidance. was performed 12 (age range: 13–55 y); all lesions had ill-defined boundaries or peritumoral cysts at preliminary B-mode ultrasound. highlighted cases. The contrast agent's distribution revealed different phases (arterial, peak, washout), as observed brain, these appeared to be slower less intense. In our experience, allows surgeons assess perfusion highlight real time. As for other imaging modalities, agents add valuable information over baseline imaging, their use should fostered better understand microbubble dynamics.
