摘要: Hybrid PTFE/Kevlar fabric was treated by cryogenic approach. The untreated or cryo-treated incorporated into fabric/phenolic composite for friction and wear tests. It found that the resistance of improved after cryo-treatment, although coefficient increased to a certain extent. SEM observations showed roughness hybrid which may enhance mechanical interlocking phenolic resin on fiber surface. Enhanced fiber/resin adhesion considered contribute composite.
