Biochemical and physiological properties of alkaline phosphatases in five isolates of marine bacteria.

摘要: The alkaline phosphatase activities of five unique isolates marine bacteria were found to be associated with the periplasmic space; however, enzymes from these differed respect their repressibility, apparent number isoenzymes, necessity for Mg2 activity, and conditions required release. With three isolates, enzyme was released when cells that had been washed in 0.5 M NaCl suspended sucrose; other two one additional presence tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane lysozyme ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.
