摘要: Abstract Cryptocaryon irritans is an important protozoan parasite which infects almost all kinds of marine teleosts, causing heavy economic losses. In our previous studies, we found that rabbitfish ( Siganus oramin ) displayed high resistance to C. irritans infection, and a novel protein, l -amino acid oxidase (LAAO), was identified from the serum lethal . this study, were firstly infected with dose , then LAAO mRNA expression pattern activity three enzymes [superoxide dismutase (SOD), Na + /K -ATPase Ca 2+ /Mg -ATPase] measured in various tissues. The results indicated that, after feeding swimming normal, infection intensity host low. Tissue distribution analysis showed most pronounced head kidney gill, lower observed muscle. After up-regulated early post (from 6 24 h) both gill spleen, but returned normal levels, implying may play role host's immune response. SOD liver significantly higher group than control by 48 h while activities decreased 12 24 h infection; no significant difference detected at other time points throughout experiment. Together, these suggest biochemical responses are relatively mild parasite, defense against
