摘要: Abstract Pasteurella multocida is an important animal pathogen. Bacterial ghosts produced by the expression of phage PhiX174 lysis gene E are empty cells devoid cytoplasmic and genomic material. Lysis P. 7A haemolytica A1 carrying -specific vectors (pSR2 pSON2) occurred 140 min after induction induced temperature upshift. The -mediated cell killing activity was same in both species no viable could be detected . were used for immunization rabbits mice. Rabbits immunized subcutaneously with either - or -ghosts developed antibodies reacting immunizating strain, as well other strains. number proteins whole protein extracts recognized sera constantly increased during observation period 51 days. In addition, dose-dependent protection against homologous challenge observed mice -ghosts. Animals which received 1.15×10 8 a dose up to 60 cfu (LD90), showed 100% protection. According these results, we suggest new vaccine candidates.
