摘要: A user programmable device for horizontal gel eletrophoresis is provided. This can both accurately and programmably control: (a) the angle between electrical field by use of a rotatable bed, (b) magnitude field, (c) temperature. The present invention microprocessor-based contol board which sends control signals to: motor attached to source elecrical potential Peltier devices sides buffer chambers horizontally displaced from bed. particularly appropriate lowering cost, footprint, reducing heat dissipated, maintaining close tolerances electric gradients temperature, exploring using thus far untried modes variation. It thereby suitable analyzing large linear DNA, open circular DNA and/or DNA-protein complexes. Control several disks, power supplies temperature cells one (multiplexing) an option.
