摘要: Bluegill sunfish (Lepomis macrochirus) and fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas) responses to a nonionic linear alcohol ethoxylate (LAE) surfactant were examined in 10-day laboratory 30-day outdoor stream mesocosm experiments. Larval survival was determined study with nominal concentrations of 0, 1.0, 3.0, 7.0, 13.0 25.0 mg LAE l−1. growth survival, reproduction behaviour evaluated replicated mesocosms mean measured 0.73, 2.04, 4.35, 5.7 11.24 The No Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC) for larval 1.0 NOEC bluegill In the mesocosms, NOECs adult 2.04 l−1, 0.73 l−1 respectively. Surviving minnows that had ceased following exposure streams re-established normal during post- treatment observation period laboratory.
