摘要: Purpose: Because dental hygiene education has had a similar trajectory as nursing education, this critical review addressed the question “What can discipline learn from experience in their development of doctoral education?” Information on admission and degree requirements, modes instruction, program length cost was collected websites associated with 112 125 PhD programs nationally, 174 184 Doctor Nursing Practice (DNP) programs. In addition, searches PubMed, Cumulative Index Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) Web Science were utilized to identify key articles books. The following 4 insights relevant future emerged education: First, offers 2 main degrees, research-focused practice-focused DNP degree. Second, there is well-documented need for prepared nurses teach at all levels managing client-care settings. Third, curricula quality consistency priority education.
