摘要: Domestic Violence [DV] is a global health problem of pandemic proportions. WHO identifies it as psychological, physical or sexual violence threats the same, in premises one’s home. The perpetrator can be husband, intimate partner, friend family member. DV during pregnancy has widespread implications on adverse obstetric maternal and foetal outcomes. To find out prevalence domestic antenatal women observe association between perinatal outcome. It cohort study carried at ELMCH, over period 10 months. Data were collected from pregnant reporting to outpatient department obstetrics gynaecology their third trimester pregnancy. pregnancies followed up till delivery one week postpartum Appropriate statistical methods applied determine significance observations, odds ratio was calculated for risk factors. 22.2%, with psychological being most common form observed. Increased relative found hypertensive disorders pregnancy, antepartum haemorrhage, recurrent urinary tract infection preterm labour. Apgar scores babies affected mothers lower, there significantly greater NICU admissions. This independent gestation delivery. affects least 1/4th women.
