摘要: The prevalence of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is thought to be related obesity, which affects the prognosis for PTC patients. However, mechanisms implicated in relationship between obesity and a matter debate. In this study, we aimed gain insight into clinicopathological features PTC, including BRAFV600E mutation. medical records 1121 patients were reviewed relationships anthropometric factors, biochemical parameters, mutation status, analyzed. Body mass index (BMI) showed strong association with advanced TNM stage (p < 0.001) status (p = 0.008). We also found that BRAFV600E (+) had higher body weight (p = 0.024) BMI (p = 0.003) than BRAFV600E (−) PTC. addition, significantly incidence extrathyroidal extension (p = 0.025) more T, N, Consistent observation, female (p = 0.011) aggressive tumor behaviors multivariate analysis, was persistently associated entire cohort (odds ratio [OR] 1.387; 95 % CI 1.036–1.859; p = 0.028) subcohort (OR 1.221; 1.014–1.631; p = 0.046). positive supports hypothesis excessive bodyweight influences progression.
