摘要: Data from a 1979 measles epidemic in an urban district of Guinea- Bissau indicate that state nutrition is not major determinant outcome infection. However, overcrowding increases the risk early infection and severity disease. In instances which several children have simultaneously, case fatality rate significantly higher than for isolated cases. This tendency apparently result intensity exposure; within same house, secondary cases much age-specific index It suggested association between intensive exposure may be due to increase rates intercurrent and/or greater dose Since it only malnourished who die measles, vaccination importance survival patterns has previously been assumed.
