摘要: A coupled inversion of transient pressure observations and surface displacement measurements provides an efficient technique for estimating subsurface permeability variations. The methodology has the advantage utilizing observations, which are typically much less expensive than requiring boreholes. Furthermore, unlike many other geophysical observables, relationship between deformation reservoir pore fluid volume changes is relatively well understood. Our treatment enables us to partition estimation problem into a sequence three linear subproblems. An application approach set tilt borehole data from Raymond field site in California illustrates its efficiency utility. associated with test withdrawn shallow fracture zone. During test, 13 tiltmeters recorded movement ground surface. Simultaneously, nine transducers measured boreholes intersecting system. We able image high permeability, north trending channel located within existence orientation this high-permeability feature substantiated by semiquantitative analysis some 4000 curves.
