摘要: Three gracilarioid species, Gracilariopsis bailiniae and Gracilaria tenuistipitata from Vietnam gracilis Russia, were studied in order to determine whether might be a superior species for cultivation brackish-water ponds agar production compared with the Vietnamese species. The effects of different salinity levels on growth rate as well properties three controlled laboratory experiments. G. tolerant low (∼10‰), whereas Gp. died under these conditions. showed among examined. had highest content [36.8–46.6% dry weight (dw)]. Agar yield gracilarioids did not exceed 30% dw. Gel strength native was two-fold higher that (278 g cm−2 vs 130 g cm−2). Alkali pretreatment increased gel significantly (1.4-fold), (2.3-fold) agar. results suggest may suitable reasonably good quality
