摘要: Abstract Surface electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) is recognized as a powerful non-invasive soil survey and monitoring method. Relationships between (ER) water contents that are needed to infer the spatial distribution of moisture from ERT results, known reflect properties. However, pedotransfer relationships relate ER, content, basic properties other than clay content have not been developed. The objective this work was evaluate improvement in estimates ER if included equations. Soil — coarse-loamy, siliceous, mesic Typic (or Aquic) Hapludult sampled 12 locations at ten depths across 30 × 30-m experimental site. measured disturbed samples four-electrode cells. Water bulk density, texture, organic carbon, pH were these samples. coefficient exponent power law-dependence on volumetric approximated with linear regressions any number inputs. A total 1024 compared using Akaike information criterion, best model found provided approximation minimum regression terms. Six textural classes encountered When no included, R2 log-log increased 0.45 10 cm 0.91 190 cm. Splitting dataset into topsoil subsoil subsets resulted favorable about 0.85 both subsoil. Bulk sand appeared be influential Overall, accuracy highly heterogeneous sandy could substantially improved established. Future applicability data obtained repacked undisturbed soils selection input variables evaluation methods for functions.
