摘要: Encouraging more sustainable consumption patterns offers an effective means of reducing the environmental impacts individuals and households. In addition, many Product Service Systems (PSS) offer not only benefits, but also social economic benefits. evaluation PSSs it is important to capture any indirect consequences changed patterns. For instance, a PSS that savings individual will inevitably be spent elsewhere. Any assessment must include analysis consumers marginal expenditure. This article demonstrates how apply Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Input-Output Analysis (IOA) Car sharing schemes transportation choices are used as illustrative example. It shown way rebound expenditure makes large difference overall impacts. If households spread uniformly across non-transport items different has small changes. However, if on air travel, then emissions can negate transport choices.
