摘要: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality. Coronary heart (CHD) occurs in women a decade later compared with men gap between narrows advancing age. In addition, cardiovascular mortality declines but not women. accounts for majority CVD deaths women. The spectrum risk (10-year absolute CHD risk) varies from high ( > 20%) established CHD, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral artery abdominal aortic aneurysm, diabetes chronic kidney to intermediate (10-20%) multiple factors, markedly elevated levels single factor, metabolic syndrome, first degree relatives early onset subclinical (e.g. coronary calcification) low (< 10%), mainly 1 or no factors. Hypertriglygeridemia, HDL cholesterol, syndrome are more potent factors men. High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (CRP) anemia other novel hypoestrogenemia hypothalamic origin may be factor pre-menopausal one possible increased young versus age-matched acute myocardial infarction (MI) as well post bypass surgery. For prevention aspirin, ??-blockers, angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors statins indicated higher women, whereas lower healthy life style changes recommended.
