摘要: The molecular mechanisms responsible for plant adaptations to aquatic habitats remain poorly known. In this study, we aimed detect selection on orthologous genes among the submerged Ranunculus bungei, semi-aquatic R. sceleratus, and terrestrial brotherusii cantoniensis, in order identify candidate involved adaptive transition from if they differ between bungei sceleratus. We used 884 previously reported 1:1:1:1 four species (one ortholog is represented each species). identified 177 of sceleratus that are potentially under positive selection. Among them, a set adaptation an habitat were recognized. These include several associated with photosynthesis, vacuoles, ethylene oxygen receptors, aerenchyma formation. Gene Ontology analyses suggest has higher percentage positively selected chloroplast other plastids, while metabolic processes. This study represents step forward towards understanding mechanism habitats.
