摘要: In the present work, we show how exposure to electric fields during a high-temperature treatment can be used manipulate surface properties of donor-doped ceramics and thus improve their reactivity. La0.1Sr0.9TiO3 (LSTO) nanoparticles, prepared by hydrothermal synthesis, were consolidated under air with without external fields. Although neither approaches caused grain growth upon consolidation, influence field (i.e., flash sintering) remarkably enhanced segregation Sr on material’s surface. addition, high concentration O– defects both in bulk as well material was demonstrated spectroscopic methods. This defect along nanoscopic size field-consolidated materials is probably one triggering factors improved charge carrier mobility, observed impedance spectroscopy.
