摘要: This article deals with the further systematic investigation of effects diazepam on quantitative beta activity in EEG background activity, and determination affecting factors concerned. Diazepam (0.1-0.3 mg/kg) was injected intravenously, percentage diazepaminduced changes (PDICB) over 8 sites scalp recordings quantitatively analyzed using spectral analysis. The concerned were also explored by univariate multivariate statistical analysis 84 cases epilepsy. results showed that mean PDICB value epileptic patients (4.49 ± 4.51) significantly lower than normal controls (8.03 5.55). In slowing pre-diazepam, AED treatment, long duration receiving AEDs, refractory epilepsy brain structural damage, statistically reduced. values CPS, GTCS, etiologic factors, or paroxysmal discharges pre-drug recordings, tended toward decrease advancing disease seizure frequency; however, these trends did not reach significance. Besides correlate sex, age at onset. a stepwise regression model, it found treatment independently negatively associated decreased PDICB. These suggest reduction induced diazepam, which may involve whole besides epileptogenic lesion, is related only to cerebral function impairment due process, but interactions synergistic effects.
