摘要: Abstract Purpose To examine the efficacy of an intervention based on transtheoretical model (TTM) for increasing fruit and vegetable consumption among economically disadvantaged African-American adolescents. Design Pretest-posttest quasi-experimental study. Setting Youth services agencies located in New York, Jersey, Pennsylvania. Agencies were assigned to computer (CIN) nonintervention control study arms. Subjects A total 507 adolescents ages 11 14 years. Intervention Youths CIN arm completed four 30-minute sessions tailored TTM stages processes change. Measures Self-reported stages, pros, cons, self-efficacy consumption. Analysis effects examined with analysis covariance models that controlled demographic variables baseline measures each outcome.
