摘要: The Spemann organizer of the amphibian embryo can be subdivided into two discrete activities, namely trunk and head organizer1. Several factors secreted from that are involved in organization thought to act by repressing Bmp signalling2,3,4. With exception factor cerberus5, little is known about head-organizer inducers. Here we show co-expression a dominant-negative receptor with inhibitors Wnt-signalling pathway Xenopus leads induction complete secondary axes, including head. This does not require expression siamois marker Nieuwkoop centre signalling, suggesting cells directly shifting fate. Furthermore, find cerberus potent inhibitor Wnt signalling. Our results indicate activity simultaneous repression signalling they suggest mechanism for region-specific organizer.
