摘要: AbstractThe advent of global warming, as attested by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), has serious ramifications for various facets human endeavour. Manufacturing is one such activity that poised to undergo significant changes curbing green-house gas emissions. This paper presents schemes reducing energy consumed in machining and grinding operations — workhorses any typical manufacturing set-up. These are based mechanics metal cutting process which have been well studied over years. Besides lowering drawn from national grids, will pave way improved energy-efficient processes. In foreseeable future, alternative fuel systems power processes together with both newer schemes, those outlined this effort, would a positive impact consumption sector.
