摘要: Pseudomonas aeruginosa lung infection is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in cystic fibrosis (CF). Longitudinal assessment the phenotypic changes P. isolated from young children with CF lacking. This study investigated genotypic oropharynx (OP) bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) a cohort 40 patients during first 3 years life; antibody response was also examined. A high degree variability identified, each patient had unique genotypes. Early isolates phenotype distinct those usual isolates: generally nonmucoid antibiotic susceptible. Genotype correlated between OP BALF isolates. As determined by culture, 72.5% demonstrated their years. On basis combined culture serologic results, 97.5% evidence age years, which suggests that occurs early may be intermittent or undetectable culture.
