摘要: Abstract Photocatalytic oxidation of carboplatin, a platinum antineoplastic drug, has been investigated in aqueous heterogeneous solutions containing TiO2 photocatalysts. The current study, besides the photocatalytic degradation examines utilization photo-reduction process occurring on surface catalyst, leading simultaneously to photo-deposition and recovery platinum. was evaluated for its ability degrade molecule carboplatin concurrently result synthesis efficient modified catalysts. kinetic studied under different operational conditions, such as type photocatalyst, catalyst loading, initial pH addition electron acceptors. Three systems were namely, P25 UV-A Kronos vlp 7000 or visible illumination, with respect their activity substrate mineralization bind during drug. rate (r0) decreased order P25/UV-A > TiO2 7000/UV-A > TiO2 7000/visible light. For P25/UV-A, 100 mg L−1 H2O2 increases slightly rate, while rates gradually decrease photocatalysis takes place neutral alkaline pH. Phytotoxicity measurements, showed that presence is capable reducing phytotoxicity carboplatin. deposition fully accomplished within 60 min oxidation, light, percentage deposited reaches 40%. Platinum feasible, employing P25, even after reused. synthesized demonstrated higher efficiency comparison bare one, 100% model pollutant malachite green 40% DOC reduction, 30 min photo-oxidation.
