Preparation, structural and its enhanced green upconversion luminescence in rare-earth doped CdMnS nanopowders

摘要: Abstract Pure, Mn and rare-earth doped CdS nanopowders were prepared by simple chemical method the synthesized powders calcinied at 650 °C for 1 h 30 min in air environment. Their structural, vibrational electronic properties studied XRD, SAED, FT-IR, UV–Visible absorption, DRS luminescence studies. SAED XRD data shows that as contain multi phase like CdSO 4 . Heat treatment environment leads to oxidization of powders. FTIR spectra recorded analyze groups FE-SEM EDAX studies performed arrive morphological elemental analysis. Upconversion with 100 fs, 798 nm laser pulses. Square dependency upconverted signal on input power indicated two photon absorption processes leading upconversion. We observed doping CdMnS, signals much larger than pure CdS. These results strongly suggest CdS, especially transition metal elements, are useful field imaging.
