摘要: BACKGROUND: Investigations of chemical modification electrode surfaces and immobilization nitrogenated bases oligonucleotides are considered essential for the construction DNA electrochemical nanodevices. Modification gold with poly(4-aminophenol) was carried out in order to produce polymers capable immobilizing purine oligonucleotides. RESULTS: Gold electrodes coated showed improved analytical characteristics considerably enhanced signals associated detection adenine guanine by factors ca 3a ndca 6, respectively, when compared non-coated surfaces. Impedance studies indicated higher charge transfer impedance modified containing adenosine monophosphate. Atomic force microscopy images that have a strong influence over morphology surface. It observed presents globular morphology. CONCLUSION: The increased amplitude current signal produced good response peaks an oligonucleotide. This work presents, first time, electropolymerization 4-aminophenol on electrodes, as well oligonucleotide incorporated these electrodes. 2007 Society Chemical Industry Supplementary electronic material this paper is available Wiley InterScience at http://www.interscience.wiley.com/jpages/ 0959-8103/suppmat/
