摘要: Recently, various studies for tissue engineering have been conducted successfully to explore a new era of defect treatment. To this end, three essential factors were examined extensively, that is, cells be transplanted, signaling molecules, and scaffold. Currently, undifferentiated mesenchymal stem (MSCs) or the differentiated forms are transplanted with appropriate scaffolds, producing excellent regeneration. In addition, it is demonstrated molecules such as basic FGF, BDNF, BMP, TGF-beta available formation. Under background, special issue on regeneration in dentistry was designed summarize current status Thus, we invited authors submit original research review articles seek nature relevant factors. As results, interesting scientifically significant papers accepted. These categorized into MSCs and/or dental factors, cellular responses biomaterials, vivo animal models artificially created defects, confirmation safety ethical consideration.
