摘要: Stakeholder analysis and engagement processes are recognised as essential in environmental natural resources management (ENRM). Underpinning these is the identification of stakeholders, an often tacit process which finds practitioner responsible for stakeholder or sifting through all society to determine who awarded status given project issue. While ENRM literature provides guidance engagement, there has not been same level examination practical approaches to—and assumptions underlying—stakeholder by practitioners working field. This research extends on exploring used practitioners. Semi-structured interviews (n = 20) were conducted with practitioners, leading classification eight identification. These discussed ‘art’ ‘science’ Practitioners’ conceptualisations terms stakeholder, community, citizenry discussed, differences understandings critical outlined based broad domain operating (land use change versus agricultural extension community engagement).
