摘要: We tested predictions derived from the gaze cascade model of preference decision making (Shimojo, Simion, Shimojo, & Scheier, 2003; Simion 2006, 2007). In each trial, participants’ eye movements were monitored while they performed an eight-alternative task in which four items array preexposed prior to trial. Replicating previous findings, we found a bias toward chosen item response. However, contrary prediction model, preexposure stimuli decreased, rather than increased, magnitude decisions. Furthermore, unlike did not affect likelihood being chosen, and pattern looking behavior decisions on nonpreference control was remarkably similar. Implications present findings multistage models are discussed.
