摘要: Abstract The results of three years research on jaguars Panthera onca in the Pantanal region Brazil are used to develop a comprehensive conservation plan for species region. attempts integrate space and ecological requirements with existing land features socioeconomic realities A reserve at least 2000–3000 km2 is recommended each two areas which still support relatively undisturbed populations jaguars. Second, calls protection riverine forests between reserves as corridors inter-refuge movement. Lastly, several recommendations made address jaguar-cattle conflicts.
