Behavioral impairments in acute and chronic manganese poisoning in white rats.

摘要: Single p.o. doses of manganese chloride (MnCl2·4H2O; 50 mg/kg) induced significant and reversible decreases in total activity white rats, along with worsening the acquisition an avoidance reaction response to unconditioned conditioned stimuli, increases latent period reflex activity, a temporary learning process. Chronic poisoning (daily at 20 or mg/kg for one month) led impairment processes multipath maze but had no effect on reproduction previously acquired stereotypical behavior.
