摘要: The study examined the utilisation of facility-based maternal healthcare services under National Health Insurance Scheme. A cross sectional survey design was employed. Four 2 hundred women who had enrolled on programme and carried their pregnancies to term were selected through a simple random sampling technique for study. It found that formal education up secondary level beyond 7.5 times more likely utilise skilled delivery care than counterparts without education. perception about quality also played paramount role in complete ANC visits. Women resided communities where there health centres utilised those no centres. Rich 3.4 compared poor. Finally, decision most depended approval husband. Husbands instrumental deciding whether partners receive while access often jointly made. Based findings MoH should consider an extensive infrastructural development policy factoring elements establishing community rural areas facilitate frequent services.
