摘要: The cellular and molecular events of skeletal morphogenesis, remodeling, and repair have their basis in the embryonic production bone (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).For this reason, detailed analysis developing osseous tissue experimental models can provide framework for understanding processes that occur as an organism grows matures. This chapter is not intended to a comprehensive review all cell-based therapies directed at regeneration.Instead,it aims characterize osteoblastic differentiation, help clarify lineage relationships between cells various stages maturity, and demonstrate how information has been used design effective therapeutic strategies regeneration. While bulk data illustrated herein derived from authors’ laboratory, we these examples against which results additional investigators be compared contrasted.
