The Multidrug-Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa Clinical Isolates from Dogs and Cats Expressed Three Multidrug Efflux Systems Simultaneously

摘要: The objective of this study was to examine the expression 4 clinically-important Mex systems including MexAB-OprM, MexCD-OprJ, MexEF-OprN and MexXY in Pseudomonas aeruginosa clinical isolates from dogs cats. exhibited high level resistance multiple antibiotics clinically important. All them simultaneously overexpressed up three different systems, as determined by RT-PCR. None MexCD-OprJ. Expression mexF measured using quantitative real-time Transcription varied (i.e. 4-219 fold) but at least fold higher than that PAO1. DNA sequence analysis mexT suggested existence uncharacterized regulatory mechanism (s) besides MexT. results underscored contribution multidrug phenotype P.
