Observation of Modulations in Lyman‐Alpha Line Profiles of Hydrogen‐Like Ions of Oxygen in Clusters Irradiated by Femtosecond Laser Pulses: Effect of an Oscillatory Electric Field

摘要: Profiles of the Lyα line O VIII ions in N2O clusters irradiated by femtosecond laser pulses (laser flux up to 4×1017 W/cm2) were recorded. The features (peaks and dips) profiles observed evidencing presence intense plasma oscillations with an amplitude electric field E0 ∼ (0.5 – 1.0) × 109 V/cm a frequency ω (0.7 2.4) 1015 s−1.
