摘要: We have described a simple approach to the transition temperature engineering in metal-free mesogenic octaalkoxycarbonyl phthalocyanines Pc(COOR)8. The method is based on esterification of common octaacid precursor with binary mixtures alcohols. Variation length alkyl chain and ratio components starting alcohols resulted comprising multiple components, yet well-defined reproducible composition that was reflected thermotropic properties. Linear dependence between isotropization temperatures average chains Pc(COOR)8 demonstrated.
