摘要: Abstract Tungsten (0) complexes trans -LL′W(CO) 4 (L ≠ L′: i-Pr 3 P, Ph (Me 2 N) (i-PrO) P (PhO) P) fall into two categories with respect to their photochemistry. Compounds of type A, which contain at least one strongly donating phosphine ligand, lose the axial phosphines upon irradiation. Of different phosphines, is always lost preferentially, photochemical lability increasing in series P. B, weakly ligands only, radial carbonyl groups These results are explained terms ligand field theory and Vanquickenborne's labilisation model.
