GenLaban: A tool for generating Labanotation from motion capture data

摘要: This paper presents a computer-aided tool for automatically generating Labanotation scores from motion capture data named GenLaban. GenLaban can be implemented with low-cost equipment but an efficient method that allows users converting body motions to scores. The key components of are the analysis motions, quantization postures and determination parts carrying weight. All processes under supervision expert ensure notation meaning correctly as use dance composition. experiments showed dancers, instructors choreographers, is potential notating movements into enabling them accurately interpreted. At present system handle subset covering many fundamental movements. However, rich in symbols new continually being introduced will incorporated time permits.
