摘要: The authors develop a joint model for the demand travel and travelcards on London Regional Transport network. Tests indicate that theoretical restrictions are broadly satisfied, although Slutsky symmetry condition is strongly rejected. estimates confirm previous findings underground inelastically demanded while bus elastic. A simulation analysis attributes between one third half of rise in period 1982-87 to employment growth; two thirds introduction travelcards. (Author/TRRL)
