摘要: In frog prey capture behavior an appropriate sensory stimulus at a given location in space triggers complex movement directed toward the stimulus. We are interested how brain is organized so as to yield such spatial correspondence between and resulting movement. Initial stages of neuronal circuitry underlying appear involve topographic representations midbrain. The outputs triggered or ballistic, suggesting that they based on pattern generating some unknown brain. Given these considerations, one approach problem ask maps linked circuitry. this paper we will discuss several experiments exploring linkage. focus particularly our ideas about organization which brings input output have evolved during course studies.
