摘要: Purpose: To identify perioperative predictors of immediate pain after ureteroscopy, specifically evaluating the impact hydrodistention from irrigation on pain. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively identified patients who underwent ureteroscopy for treatment calculi. Data recorded these included their maximum score in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), average flow rate irrigant used during procedure, patient stone characteristics, operative details patients' immediate, post-operative course. Spearman's rho was to determine relationship between non-parametric, continuous variables. Then, a linear regression performed assess which variables could predict peak score. Results: A total 131 were study. non-parametric correlation analysis revealed that negatively correlated with being male (r = −0.18, p=0.04), age −0.34, p<0.001), post-op foley placement −0.20, p=0.02) but positively preoperative 0.41, time PACU 0.19, p 0.03), morphine equivalent dose (MED) narcotics administered 0.67, p<0.001). On regression, significant age, score, stent placement. For every ten-year increase decreased by 4/10 point (p 0.03). 1 there 3/10 0.01), leaving place post-operatively associated 1.6 Conclusions: Hydrodistention does not play role post-ureteroscopy Patients are younger, have higher scores, or stented will experience more ureteroscopy.
