摘要: Objective To compare intra- and postoperative data of patients who underwent ureterorenoscopy (URS) with an access sheath, without stenting. Methods We retrospectively identified flexible URS a ureteral sheath between January 2102 2013. Two surgeons performed all cases; one routinely stents after ureteroscopy second selectively stents. Fifty-one were stented 51 not enrolled in this study. Patients matched by operative time as surrogate measure complexity the procedure. Intra- compared. also analyzed if preoperative stenting or diameter had any effect on pain score for each group. Results group older ( P  = .025) less likely to seek medical assistance than unstented (26.3% vs 3.9%; .007). prestented before lower scores those that did receive stent (4.2 ± 3.4 6.6 2.8; .047). Conclusion Postoperative seems decrease pain. might be selected no they procedure, was uneventful.
