摘要: Five populations of the planarian Polycelis tenuis, collected from four locations in a metal contaminated stream and one location an unpolluted tributary stream, were compared for their sensitivity to cadmium by measuring survival, reproduction, body size changes during 28 days exposure via water. Survival data bioconcentration measured at end experiment enabled use kinetic-based toxicity model, estimating lethal concentration, uptake rate constant, elimination ultimate LC50 as estimated toxicokinetic parameters. Accurate selection one-month acclimatization period standardized laboratory conditions applied enhance comparability between populations. An increased constant greater populations, located downstream ancient lead–zinc mine. The concentration causing effect on reproduction varied considerably (a factor 10) among but did not differ significantly For number reproducing individuals function EC50 steepness slope concentration/effect relationship tended be correlated positively (P<0.10), indicating that field may have occurred. Cadmium was found shrinkage P. tenuis under food limitation.
