摘要: In familial adenomatous polyposis, the long-term risk of pouch polyposis and potential for cancer are unknown. Our aim was to evaluate prospectively prevalence, nature, etiology ileal adenomas with that nonpouch in polyposis. Sixty patients pouch, 47 ileorectal anastomosis, 20 younger who had prophylactic colectomy were examined videoendoscopy. Adenomatous polyps found pouches 34 (57 percent). A total 362 identified (range, 0–50 per patient). logistic regression model confirmed there a significant association between increasing age patient presence (P < 0.02) length follow-up since surgery 0.05). There no apparent relationship development severity either colonic or duodenal clear genotype phenotype correlations. Most tubular mild dysplasia, but 11 more advanced histology, including two large villous adenomas. Nonpouch mucosa spared from visually observed adenomas, only 1 48 (2 percent) anastomosis 0 (0 younger, precolectomy having terminal However, microadenomas present on random biopsy 4 percent 5 ileum. The is unclear, periods remain relatively short. Long-term endoscopic surveillance thus recommended along evaluation therapeutic options
