摘要: An experiment was designed to examine microbiology of water samples Golbasi lake and assess the occurence multiple antibiotic resistances in Escherichia coli from them. Total aerobic bacteria number determined as 20x10(3) cfu ml(-1) fecal coliforms were >1100 MPN/100 ml. Collected four geographically dispersed stations screened for E. assessed their resistance twelve different antibiotics, which are commonly encountered lake. Of total 13 isolates, 0% susceptible all antibiotics. All isolates found resistant Penicillin (P) (100%). Among antibiotics tested, patterns obtained them with ranging 2 5. Three had beta-lactamase detected by iodometric slide test. The results indicated that persistent use against human diseases other life forms may pollute impact on developing be a serious threat both health environment.
