Korean women's attitudes toward pregnancy and prenatal care

摘要: A convenience sample of 40 native-born pregnant Korean women receiving prenatal care at a U.S. military facility in major metropolitan area Korea completed questionnaire about attitudes toward pregnancy and care. Responses revealed family life characterized by positive maternal paternal perceptions the less preference for male child than we had anticipated. Traditional beliefs Tae Mong, conception dream, Kyo, rituals safe childbirth, were followed. Food taboos, including protein sources, reported. Attitudes services, providers, health habits are described.
