摘要: BACKGROUND: Excessive coughing may increase the risk of complications after sinus surgery. We hypothesized that remifentanil would decrease incidence and severity endoscopic surgery with propofol anaesthesia. METHODS: Ninety patients scheduled for were randomly assigned into three groups. Propofol was stopped at completion surgical procedure. The infusion adjusted to an effect-site concentration 1.5, 2.0 or 2.5 ng/ml, 10 min before anticipated end surgery, in each groups (RF₁(.)₅, RF₂(.)₀ RF₂(.)₅) continued until extubation. evaluated on a scale from 0 3. RESULTS: proportion who did not cough significantly higher (67.5%, 95% CI: 59.1– 75.9%) RF₂(.)₅ (74.2%, 66.4–82.0%) than RF₁(.)₅ group (35.%, 26.5–43.5%) (P < 0.01). grade 2 3 (grade 2: 15.1%, 3: 6.7%) 5.0%, 0%) 4.2%, 0.05). There no statistically significant difference time extubation among CONCLUSION: Maintaining anaesthesia extubation, can suppress without prolonging recovery This effect is dose dependent more pronounced concentrations (2.0 ng/ml).
